Answer:
let
2x + 3y = 17 be the first eq -- ----- (1)
3x - 2y = 6 be the second eq ----------(2)
so we can do it by alimination method
therefore multiple (1) eq by 3
3(2x+3y = 17 ) = 6x +9y = 51 --------(3) eq
and multipling the (2) eq by 2
2( 3x- 2y = 6 ) = 6x - 4y = 12 ---------(4)
so subtracting both the eq 3 and 4 , we get
6x + 9y = 51
6x - 4y = 12
- + -
_________
13y = 39
therefore y = 3
putting value of y in the 4 eq , we get
6x - 4(3) = 12
6x = 24
x = 4
i hope this will help you
thanks
all the best
