2 :- Area of trapezium = 1/2 ( sum of parallel side) * height

Here, Area of trapezium = 850 cm^2
. . . . . 1st side = 64 cm
. . . . . Height. = 17 cm
. . . . . Let, the length of 2nd side be 'x' cm respectively.

So,
. . . 850 = 1/2 * ( 64 + x ) *17

Therefore, 1700 = 1088 + 17x

Therefore, 17x = 1700 - 1088

Therefore, 17x = 612

Therefore, x = 612/17

Therefore, x = 36 cm.

Therefore, the length of the second side of the trapezium is 36 cm.....
