Mahatma Gandhi: Spiritual Model of India
Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi known as Mahatma Gandhi was born on 2 October, 1869 in Porbandar (Gujarat). By profession he was a lawyer and politician. After he was also became leader of the nationalist movement against British. Due to his contribution towards getting India its freedom from its Colonial Masters, the "British Raj" he is well known as the "Father of Nation". We have given him the nick name of Bapu. He believed in non-violence and unity of the people regardless caste and religion. He was a spokesperson for the upliftment of the lower classes, the equal treatment of the poor and the empowerment of women. Though he himself did not believe in the latter, his opinion on women changed after he met his wife, Kasturba. He worked very hard to banish untouchability from Indian society. In the fight against the British, he took the stand of Non-violence. He peaceful protests and ahimsa were his motto. He also promoted non-cooperation and encouraged people to buy only swadeshi goods in order to ruin the British. His fight against British was successful and he saw the Independence of our country on the 15th of August, 1947. But sadly Gandhiji was taken away from us, less than a year later. On the 30th of January 1948, Gandhi was assassinated at the Birla house in New Delhi by Nathuram Godse. He will always live in our hearts for the deeds he has done for us.
Five Initiatives I will take being inspired from Gandhiji to build our Nation Brighter are:
- We must not lose faith in Humanity. Humanity is must like ocean if a few drops of the oceans are dirty than the ocean does not became dirty.
- Our future depends on what we do in the present.
- There is no god higher than truth.
- No culture can live if it attempts to be exclusive.
- It becomes easier to both take action and to keep your focus.

Gandhji was a great politician and as well he was a great role model of India. He always a leader of Indian and he was know as "father of our nation", Mohandas Karmachand Gandhi was born on 2nd October, 1869.
Starting from his journey when he wals in South Africa for learning laws. After he learned law in South Africa he returned to his mother land India. He saw the people of India fighting for small problems and also he saw the British ruling our country and spreading their products to India and getting rich things from India to their country.
Whatever he have seen at that time he have reflectled this at the time he got the freedom he didn't use voliolence, he learned all the laws tight things that's why he was a great leader of our country also (he is) - (he was) - (he will) be father of our country India.
He was first a politician on the year 1908 and also he agreed for it on 1908. He also been a leader for 2000 marchers at the time of Great March on 1913 in South Africa.
There are many examples to show or explain he was a great person, spiritual model of India. he have made many useful movements and most memorable this may be a lesson and a record and shows he is spiritual.
