2ohm with resister a b c are conected in series .then its equivalent is 6 ohm..! and when after connecting it in parallel what is equivalent of parallel and find the ratio of. equivalents in series and parallel

R1+R2=25

R1xR2/(R1+R2) = 6

Or R1R2 = 150

(R1-R2)^2 = (R1+R2)^2–4R1R2

(R1-R2)^2 = 625–600 = 25

R1-R2 = 5 or R2-R1 = 5 (as R1-R2 = +or- 5)

Solving R1+R2=25 and R1-R2 = 5 gives R1 = 15 and R2 = 10

R2-R1 =5 & R2+ R1 = 25 will give R2=15 and R1=10.

So one wire is of 15 and other is of 10 ohms.
