Then, Substitute the value of p in the question

= (-2 × (-2)3) - (3 × (-2)2) + (4 × (-2)) + 7

= (-2 × -8) - (3 × 4) + (-8) + 7

= 16 – 12 – 8 + 7

= 23 – 20

= 3
