HERE IS THE SOLUTION FOR YOUR QUESTION;

2√3-1 =0

2√3=1

√3=1/2.

But we know that √3 is an Irrational which is equal to 1/2 but we know that 1/2 is Rational which is became now Irrational.

Hence 2√3-1 is Irrational.

HOPE it helps

Answer of u r question is

Let us suppose that 2√3-1 is rational number
Now, 2√3-1=P/q

2√3=p/q+1

2√3=p+q/q

√3=(p+q)/2q(Integer/Integer)

Now √3 is a irrational number

which shows our supposition was wrong

2√3-1 is a irrational number

hope it helps u
