2SO2(g) + O2(g) ⇔ 2SO3(g)

How many molecules of oxygen react with 1.2 × 10-2 moles of sulphur dioxide to produce

sulphur trioxide?

2 × S + 2 × O = 2×16 +2× 6. = 32+12 =44

= 1.2 × 10-² /44

= 0.0028 × 10-²
