2t +  \frac{3}{7}  = 4 \\  \\ 2t  = 4 -  \frac{3}{7}  \\ 2t =  \frac{28 - 3}{7}  \\ 2t =  \frac{25}{7}  \\ t =  \frac{ \frac{25}{7} }{2}  =  \frac{25}{14}

Now,

2t + 3 \\\\  = 2( \frac{25}{14} ) + 3 \\  \\  =  \frac{50}{14}  + 3 \\  \\  =  \frac{50 + 42}{14}  \\  \\  \frac{92}{14} =  \frac{46}{7}  = 6 \frac{4}{7}   \\  \\
