Heya.!!!
2u+5v = 1/4
4(2u+5v)=1
8u+20v = 1---------->(i)
3u+6v=1/3
3(3u+6v)= 1
9u+18v= 1------------->(ii)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
USING SUBSTITUTION METHOD:
From equation (i)
8u+20v=1
u = 1-20v/8---------(iii)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Putting u= 1-20v/8 in equation (ii)
9u +18v=1
9(1-20v/8)+18v = 1
9 -180v +144v=8
-36v = 8-9
-36v = -1
v = 1/36
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Putting the value of v in equation (iii)
u = 1-20v/8
u = 4/9/8
u = 4/9×1/8
u = 1/18
So , u = 1/18 & v= 1/36....
