=> 4x - 2 = x² - 3x - x + 3 +1

=> x² - 8x + 6 = 0

now , apply D = b² - 4ac

= (-8)² -4(1)(6)

D = 64 - 24 = 40

so,here D >0

=> roots are real and unequal.

=> x = (-b±√D)/2a

=> x = [-(-8)±√40]/2(1)

=> x = (8 ± 2√10)/2

=> x = 2 (4 ± √10)/2

=> x = (4 ± √10 )
