Answer:

Given:

( 2x + 1 ) / ( 3x ) = 2

To Find :

( 3x - 1 ) / ( 2x ) = ?

Solution :

( 2x + 1 ) / ( 3x ) = 2

( 2x + 1 ) = ( 3x ) × 2 {Cross multiplication}

2x + 1 = 6x

4x = 1

x = 1 / 4

Now, Substituting the value of ' x ' in " 3x - 1 / 2x "

We get,

➡ 3 (1 / 4 ) - 1 / 2 ( 1 / 4 )

➡ ( 3 / 4 ) - 1 / (1/ 2 )

➡ ( -1 / 4 ) / ( 1 / 2 )

➡ -1 / 2

Hence, ( 3x - 1) / 2x = -1 / 2
