Given -2x + ( 1/2 )y = 18 ,

To find x- intercept , we put

y = 0 in given equation ,

-2x + ( 1/2 ) × 0 = 18

=> -2x = 18

=> x = ( 18 )/( -2 )

=> x = -9

Therefore ,

x - intercept = -9 .

Answer:

I believe the answer you are looking for is x = -9.

Step-by-step explanation:

The x-intercept is a point on the x-axis. y=0 at every point on the x-axis.                                              -2x + 1/2(0) = 18

 -2x              =  18
