2x -  \frac{1}{3}  + 1 = x -  \frac{2}{3}  + 2

2x - x = 2 - 1 -  \frac{2}{3} +  \frac{1}{3}

x =1 -  \frac{1}{3}

x =  \frac{3 - 1}{3} =  \frac{2}{3}
