2x + 1 ÷ 3x - 1 = 3/2

2(2x+1) = 3(3x-1)

4x + 2 = 9x - 3

4x - 9x = - 3 - 2

- 5x = -5x

x = 5/5

x = 1

Therefore, Value of x is 1

Verification:

2X +1/3X -1=3/2

2(1) + 1 / 3(1) -1

2 + 1 / 3 - 1

3/2 RHS

2x +  \frac{1}{3} x - 1 =  \frac{3}{2}  \\  \frac{6x + x}{3} \:  - 1 =  \frac{3}{2}   \\ 7x  =  \frac{15}{2}  \\ x =  \frac{15}{14}
