2x-1=y,
substitute the value of y in eq(2), we get
2(2x-1)+3=x,
4x-2+3=x,
4x-x=2-3,
then
3x=-1,
x=-1/3,
now from eq(1), we have
2×(-1/3) -1=y,
-2/3-1 =y,
(-2-3)/3 = y,
-5/3 =y
substitute the value of y in eq(2), we get
2(2x-1)+3=x,
4x-2+3=x,
4x-x=2-3,
then
3x=-1,
x=-1/3,
now from eq(1), we have
2×(-1/3) -1=y,
-2/3-1 =y,
(-2-3)/3 = y,
-5/3 =y
