$2x - 12 = 2 \times \frac{80}{9 } - 12 \\ = \frac{160}{9} - \frac{108}{9} \\ = \frac{52}{9}$
$7x + 22 = 7 \times \frac{80}{9} + 22 \\ = \frac{560}{9} + \frac{198}{9} \\ = \frac{362}{9}$
