Answer:

Cramer's rule state that to solve the solution of linear equations we have make 3 or more matrix and then we have to find the solution

for example

if     a1x + b1y = c1 and a2x +b2y = c2 are two equation

so the matrix will be

A = [ a1    b1          A1 =[ c1   b1               A2 =[ a1     c1

        a2   b2]                 c2   b2]                       a2    c2]

then, x = | A1| / |A|     and    y = |A2| / |A|

solution:

here, 2x=13-5y = 2x + 5y = 13   -----1

        2y=17-5x  = 5x +2y = 17   -------2

so,  A = [ 2  5        |A| = 4 - 25 = -21

               5  2]

     A1 = [ 13  5     |A1| = 26 -85 =-59

               17   2]

     A2 = [ 2   13    |A2| = 34 - 65 = - 31

                5   17]

now, x= -59/-21 = 2.8

        y = -31/ -21 = 1.4
