By splitting middle term

→ 2x² - 14x + 3x - 21

→ 2x ( x - 7 ) + 3 ( x - 7 )

→ ( 2x + 3 ) ( x - 7 )

To find zeroes

→ ( 2x + 3 ) ( x - 7 ) = 0

→ 2x + 3 = 0 or x - 7 = 0

→ x = - 3/2 or x = 7
