Answer:

  1. 2x²+3x+1=0
  2. then 2x²+2x+x+1=0
  3. 2x(x+1)+1(x+1)=0
  4. (2x+1)(x+1)=0
  5. and when 2x+1=0
  6. then 2x=-1
  7. & x = -1/2
  8. or when x+1=0
  9. then x=-1

then finally X= -1/2 & -1
