 : \longrightarrow \: 2 {x}^{2}  + ax -  {a}^{2}  = 0

Here,

⬤ a= 2

⬤ b = a

⬤ c = -a^2

{\underbrace{\underline \purple{FORMULA  \:  \: USED}}}

X = \:   \frac{- b \sqrt{ {b}^{2} }  - 4a}{2a}  :  \longmapsto \:  \frac{ - a \pm \sqrt{ {a}^{2}  }  - 4 \times 2 \times  -  {a}^{2} }{2 \times 2}

LET'S DO IT:-

 \longmapsto \:  \frac{ - a \pm \sqrt{9 {a}^{2} } }{4}

 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \longmapsto \:  \frac{ - a \pm \: 3a}{4}

 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \longmapsto \: x \:  =  \:  \frac{ - a + 3a}{4}  =  \frac{a}{2} x=  \frac{ - a + 3a}{4}

 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \longmapsto \: x \:  =  - a

\:  \longrightarrow { \boxed{ \underline{ \blue{\: x =  \frac{a}{2}  \: and \:  - a}}}}
