Solution:-

2 {x}^{2}  - x +  \frac{1}{8}  = 0 \\ 16 {x}^{2}  - 8x + 1 = 0 \\ 16 {x}^{2}  - 4x - 4x + 1 = 0 \\ 4x(x - 1) - 1(4x - 1) = 0 \\ (x -1)(4x - 1) = 0 \\ x = 1 \\ x =  \frac{1}{4}
