Hi there!

Your Answer :-

Let's do it.

\tt\blue{2x +  20 \% \times x = 12.1}

\tt\orange{2x +  \frac{20}{100}  \times x = 12.1}

\tt2x +  \frac{2}{10}x = 12.1

Take LCM.

\tt\pink{ \frac{20x + 2x}{10}  = 12.1}

 \tt\green{\frac{22x}{10}  =  \frac{121}{10} }

10 will get canceled.

\tt\purple{22x = 121}

Divide 121 by 22.

\tt\fbox\red{x = 5.5}

So, your answer is 5.5 or you can write it as 11/2.
