p(x) = 2x - 2x^3 + 7 p ( - 1) = 2 × ( - 1) - 2 × ( - 1)^3 + 7 = - 2 - 2 × ( - 1) + 7 = - 2 + 2 + 7 = 7 Thus, the value of polynomial for x = - 1
