QUESTION:

 \frac{2x}{3}  - 3 = 3

solve for x.

ANSWER :

First of all we solve the LHS side.

We Take the LCM in LHS side.

 \frac{2x - 9}{3}  = 3

Cross multiplication will done.

(2x - 9)  \times 1= 3 \times 3

NOW

2x - 9 = 9

Now constant term that is 9 moves from LHS side to RHS side.

2x = 18

now in LHS side 2 is in multiplication with x so on other side of the equal it's operation will be changed it will be division.

x =  \frac{18}{2}

x = 9
