Step-by-step explanation:

2x/3+3y/4=7 ---------(1)

5x = 3y+18

5x - 3y =18 -----------(2)

equation (1) 2x/3 + 3y/4 = 7

equation (2) ×1/4 5x/4 - 3y/4 = 18/4

by adding 2x/3 + 5x/4 = 7 +18/4

(8x + 15x)/12 = (28+18)/4

23x/12 = 46/4

x = 46/4 × 12/23

x = 2 × 3 = 6

x = 6

put x = 6 in equation (2)

5×6 - 3y = 18

30 - 3y = 18

-3y = 18-30= -12

y = 4

hope this will helpful to you.
