 \huge \pink{Hello \: Friends}

 \boxed{Answer \: = = > }

 \bf{2x - 3(4x + 1) = 7}

 \bf{2x - 3 \times 4x - 3 \times 1 = 7}

 \bf{2x - 12x - 3 = 7}

 \bf{ - 10x = 7 + 3}

 \bf{ - 10x = 10}

 \bf{x = \frac{10}{ - 10} }

 \boxed{x \: = - 1}
