Here in this case you can also use the formula

a³+b³=(a+b) (a²+b²-ab)

Then in this case the answer will be,

(2x+y) (4x²+y²-2xy)

But if in the question says that to express in the formula a³-b³

Then using the formula,

a³-b³=(a-b) (a²+b²+ab)

(2x-y) (4x²+y²+2xy)
