When we open the bracket equation will be

2x + 3x - 4 = x⟹2x+3x−4=x

2x + 3x - x = 4⟹2x+3x−x=4

4x = 4⟹4x=4

x = \frac {4}{4}⟹x=44

x = 1⟹x=1

☆ Verification ☆

2(1) + (3(1) - 4) = 1 ⟹2(1)+(3(1)−4)=1

2 + (3 - 4) = 1⟹2+(3−4)=1

2 + 3 - 4 = 1⟹2+3−4=1

1 = 1⟹1=1
