Step  1  :             Simplify    \frac{x}{40}             

Equation at the end of step  1  :             

 
2x • ( 3 •  \frac{x}{40} )

Step  2  :

Multiplying exponential expressions : 

2.1   

  x^{1}  multiplied by  x^{1} = x^(1 + 1) =  x^{2}


Final result :   \frac{3x^2}{20}

In simple way, solution is-:

2x ( 3x/40)

Cutting 2x and 40

x ( 3x/20)

= 3x^2/20
