Given: 2x+3y = 10

             3x+2y = 15

To find: Value of x

Step-by-step explanation:

2x+3y = 10   ....(1)  ×3

3x+2y = 15    ....(2)   ×2

6x+9y = 30  ....(3)

6x+4y = 30   ....(4)

equation (3) - equation (4)

       5y = 0

         y = 0

putting the value of y = 0 in equation (1)

          2x+3(0) = 10

                2x = 10

                  x = 10/2

                      = 5

(x+y) = (5+0)

         = 5

Answer: Value of (x+y) = 5
