2x-3y=11 and 2x-y=-1
by using elimination method
y= -6
and substitute value of y in 1 eq
2x-3 (-6)=11
2x+18=11
2x=11-18
2x=-7
x=-7/2

suryansh341: right

2X-3Y = 11

2X = 11+3Y

X = 11+3Y/2.......(1)

2X-Y = -1

Putting the value of X in,

2X-Y = -1

2× 11+3Y/ 2 -Y = -1.

11+3Y -Y = -1

2Y = -1-11

2Y = -12

Y = -12/2 = -6

PUTTING THE VALUE OF Y IN,

X = 11-3Y/2 = 11-3×-6/2 = 11+18/2 = 29/2 = 15

X = 29/2 and Y = -6

suryansh341: wrong answer
nancy60: do again
suryansh341: ya
nancy60: just a second now I do with substitution method
nancy60: Hey you do silly mistake check your answer
nancy60: it's 11 not 12
nancy60: 2 is for whole not for single and at last don't take lcm
