2x + 3y = 12 --------(1)

4x - 9y = 30------(2)

multiply ( 1 ) with 2 and subtract from (2)

we get

-15 y = 6

y = 6/ (-15)

y = - 2/5

put y value in ( 1 )

2x + 3 ( - 2/ 5 ) = 12

2x= 12 + 6/5

2x = (60 + 6)/5

2x = 66/5

x = 66/( 2 × 5 )

x = 33/5

Therefore

x = 33/5

y = -2/5

I hope this will useful to u.

Hello Dear !!
____________________________________________________________

2x + 3 y = 12 ____________(1)
4x + 9 y = 30 ____________(2)
____________________________________________________________
In equation (1)
MBS by 2
we get ,
4x + 6y = 24 _____________(3)
____________________________________________________________
Subtract equation 2 from 3
we get
4x + 6y = 24
4x - 9y  = 30
     15y  =  -6
         y  = -6/15
         y  = -2/5
_________________________________________________________________
putting the value of y in equation 1 we get ,
2x + 3(-2/5 ) = 12
2x = 12- (-6/5)
2x = 12 + (6/5)
2x = 60+6/5
2x = 66/5
x   = 33/5
