2x-3y=13------(1)

7x-2y=20-------(2)

Multiplying equation (1) by 7 and eq.(2) by 2,

14x-21y=91------(3)

14x-4y=40--------(4)

Subtracting eq(4) from (3),

- 17y= 51

-y=3

y= -3

Substituting y= -3 in (1),

2x-3(-3)=13

2x+9=13

2x= 13-9

2x= 4

x=2

Thus, the values of x and y are=> 2 and -3 respectively

Answer=> x=2 and y= -3
