Answer:

2x + 3y= 2......eq 1

x - 2y = 8.......eq 2

multiply 2 in eq 2

2x+3y = 2

2x-4y =16

after solving these eq ,

7y = -14

y = -2

put this value in eq 2

x +4 = 8

x= 4

hope it helps you.....✌✌

Step-by-step explanation:

according to 1st equation

2x+3y = 2

Or, 2x = 2-3y

Or, x = (2-3y) /2.......(i)

according to 2nd equation

x-2y = 8

Or, x = 8+2y........(ii)

comparison between (i) & (ii)

(2-3y) /2 = 8+2y

Or, 2-3y = 16+4y

Or, -3y-4y = 16-2

Or, -7y = 14

Or, y= -2

putting the value of y in (ii)

x = 8 + 2(-2)

or, x = 8-4

or, x= 4
