2x+3y=2---------(1)

x-y/2=1/2

=>(2x-y)/2=1/2

=>2x-y=2/2

=>2x-y=1---------(2)

or,

2x=1+y

x=(1+y)/2

putting the value of x in eqn(1):-

2{(1+y)/2}+3y=2

=>1+y+3y=2

=>1+4y=2

=>4y=2-1

=>4y=1

=>y=1/4

putting the value of y in eq(1):-

2x+3y=2

=>2x+3(1/4)=2

=>2x+3/4=2

=>2x=2-3/4

=>2x=(8-3)/4

=>2x=5/4

=>x=5/8

hence,x=5/8 and y=1/4
