2x + 3y = 2(equation 1)

(x - y)/2 = 1/2
x - y = 1 (equation 2)

1(2x + 3y = 2)
2(x - y = 1)

2x + 3y = 2
2x - 2y = 2

Subtracting equation 2 from 1
2x + 3y = 2
- 2x + 2y = - 2

5y = 0
y = 0

x - y = 1
x - 0 = 1
x = 1

The values of x and y are 1 and 0.
