Hiii friend,
2X -3Y = 3......(1)
8X -9Y = 15.......(2)
From equation 1 we get,
2X - 3Y = 3
2X = 3+3Y
X = 3+3Y/2....(3)
Putting the value of X in equation (2)
8X -9Y = 15
8 × (3+3Y/2) -9Y = 15
4(3+3Y) -9Y = 15
12 + 12Y -9Y = 15
3Y = 15-12
3Y = 3
Y = 3/3 => 1
Putting the value of Y in equation (3)
X = 3+3Y/2 => 3 + 3 × 1/2 => 6/2 => 3
Hence,
X = 3 and Y = 1
