substituting this value in second given eqn

2(-1-3y)+3y=3

-2-6y+3y=3

-3y=5

y=-5/3

putting this in eqn 1

-1-3(-5/3) =x

-1+15=x

x=14

$x = 14 \\ y = - 5 \div 3$
