(2x + 3y) (3x - y) - (x - 4y)(4x - 3y) \\  = 2x(3x - y) - 3y(3x - y) - x(4x - 3y) - 4y(4x - 3y) \\  = 6 {x}^{2}  - 2xy - 9xy  + 3 {y}^{2}  - 4 {x}^{2}  + 3xy -  16xy + 12 {y}^{2}  \\  = 6 {x}^{2}  - 4 {x}^{2}  - 2xy - 9xy + 3xy - 16xy + 3 {y}^{2}  + 12 {y}^{2}  \\  = 2 {x}^{2}   - 24xy + 15 {y}^{2} \\ answer = 2 {x}^{2}  - 24xy + 15 {y}^{2}
