Answer:

Solution is x = 8 , y = 4.

Step-by-step explanation:

2x - 3y = 4 (1)

3y - x = 4   (2)

To solve the given equation graphically

first we find points to draw the graph.

For equation 2x - 3y = 4

put y = 2, we get

2x - 3 × 2 = 4

2x - 6 = 4

2x = 10 ⇒ x = 5

put y = 6

2x - 3 × 6 = 4

2x - 18 = 4

2x = 22 ⇒ x = 11

Points for equation (1) are ( 5 , 2 ) , ( 11 , 6 )

For equation 3y - x = 4

put x = 2, we get

3y - 2 = 4

3y = 6

y = 2

put x = 5

3y - 5 = 4

3y = 9

y = 3

Points for equation (2) are ( 2 , 2 ) , ( 5 , 3 )

Now we draw graph with above points.

Graph is attached.

Solution of both equation is point of intersection of lines in graph

.i.e., ( 8 , 4 )

Therefor, Solution is x = 8 , y = 4.
