Step-by-step explanation:

We have, 2x + 3y + 5=0 ..... (1)

3x - 2y - 12=0....(2)

from eq (2), we get the value of y

y= (3x - 12)/2

Substituting the value of y in eq (1)

2x + 3{(3x-12)/2} + 5 =0

2x + {(9x - 36)/2 } + 5=0

4x + 9x -36 + 10 = 0

13x - 26=0

13x= 26

x = 2

Now, putting the value of x in eq(1) or (2), we get

(2 × 2) + 3y + 5=0

3y + 9=0

y = -3

Hence, the value of x and y is 2 and -3 respectively.

Hope this helped you!!
