2x + 3y = -6 ----(1)

3x - 4y = -12 ----(2)

myltiplying eq (1) by 3 and eq(2) by 2 .

6x + 9y = -18 ---(3)

6x - 8y = - 24 ---(4)

By elimination method

y = - 42

substituting y = - 42 in eq (3)

6x + 9 (-42) = - 18

6x - 378 = -18

6x = -18 + 378

6x = 360

x = 60

x = 60 and y = -42
