2x+3y=6,find interception of x and y

Here is your answer....

2x + 3y= 6

When x = 0
y = 2
∴ y-intercept is 2

When y = 0
x = 3
∴ x-intercept is 3

Given 2x + 3y = 6.

X - intercept : 2x + 3(0) = 6

                        2x = 6

                        x = 3.


Y - intercept : 2(0) + 3y = 6

                        3y = 6

                          y = 2.


x-intercept = (3,0) and y-intercept(0,2).
