2x+3y = 7--------------1

3x-y=5-----------2

Multipling by 3 in 2

9x-3y=15 - - - - - - - - - - - - - 3

Adding 1 and 3

9x-3y+2x+3y=22

11x=22

x=2

Putting x=2 in equation 2 we get

y=1

Hope it helps you
