2x-3y=7.....................(1)
5x+y=9......................(2)
multiply equation(1)by 5
10x-15y=35...............(3)
multiply equation (2)by 2
10x +2y=-18...............(4)
subtract equal 3 ,4
10x-15y=35
- 10x+2y=-18
-17y=17
y=-1
substitute y=-1in equation (1)
2x-3*-1=7
2x=7-3
2x =4
x=4/2
x=2
(x, y) =(2,-1)
5x+y=9......................(2)
multiply equation(1)by 5
10x-15y=35...............(3)
multiply equation (2)by 2
10x +2y=-18...............(4)
subtract equal 3 ,4
10x-15y=35

y=-1
substitute y=-1in equation (1)
2x-3*-1=7
2x=7-3
2x =4
x=4/2
