Answer:  a=\frac{5}{2}  and  b=\frac{1}{2}

PLEASE  MARK  MY  ANSWER  AS  BRAINLIEST  !

Step-by-step explanation:

2x+3y=7    -----------> (2.)

(a-b)x+(a+b)y=3a+b-2   -----------> (1.)

(1.) and (2.) are equivalent

a-b=2  --------> (3.)

a+b=3  ---------> (4.)

3a+b-2=7  --------> (5.)

from (3.) and (4.) =>

=> 2a-b+b=2+3

=>  2a=5

=>  a=\frac{5}{2}

put   a=\frac{5}{2}   in (4.)

=>  \frac{5}{2} +b=3

=>  b=3-\frac{5}{2}

=>  b=\frac{1}{2}
