hello users ...

Given Equations are
2x + 3y = -8 ..........(1.)
And
2x + y = -4 ..........(2.)

Solution:-
At first
taking equation (1.)
2x + 3y = -8

=> 2x = - 8 - 3y

Putting the value of 2x in (2.)
we get
2x + y = -4

=> ( -8 - 3y) + y = -4

=> -3y + y = -4 + 8

=> -2y = 4

=> y = -4/2 = -2

Now,
putting y in equation (2.)
we get
2x + y = -4

 => 2x + (-2) = -4

=> 2x - 2 = - 4

=> 2x = -4 + 2 = - 2

=> x = -2/2 = -1

Hence;
x = -1 And y = -2 Answer

# hope it helps :)
