Let 2x + 3y = 8 be eq(i) and 4x + 6y = 7 be eq(ii).

Now, From eq(i),

2x + 3y = 8

2x = 8 - 3y

x = (8 - 3y)/2

Putting the Value of x in eq(ii),

4x + 6y = 7

4(8 - 3y)/2 + 6y = 7

2(8 - 3y) + 6y = 7

16 - 6y + 6y = 7

16 = 7

16 - 7 = 0

9 = 0

That is not true.

From the Calculations, We can see that the Equations has no solution.

Hope it helps.
