•4x+3y=7.....(ii)
•Subtract (ii) from (i).
2x+3y=8
4x+3y=7

•-2x=1.
•x=-1/2.
•Substitute value of x in (i) .
•2(-1/2)+3y=8
•-1+3y=8
•3y=9
•y=3.
