if we multiply equation 1 by 2,then

4x+6y=16------(equation no 3)

if we abstract equation no 2 from equation no 3,then

4x+6y=16

4x+5y=10

so we get y=6 ----(value no 1)

if we put value of y in equation no 1

then we get 2x+3(6)=8

so 2x=-10

sox=-5
